Hi.I am looking at a 2000 dodge caravan. To purchase. There is oil everywhere.I can see it driping at a steady pace when I lay under the front end. It is leaking below the manifold. My question is. Is this the head gasket. And could oil leak into the coolant? Or because the headgasket has started to leak out there. It will not leak anywhere else. There is no blue smoke or oil in the coolant

Is he leak above the oil filter? If so, check to see if it is coming from the oil sending unit. And yes coolant can get into the oil and oil can get into the coolant. Are you sure the leak is below the exhaust manifold and not coming from a valve cover gasket?
