Why do I need to have the brakes bleed quite often especially the front right wheel. This has been ggoing on for some time and my mechanic cannot find the problem. He fixes it and a week later the pedal is down to the floor board. Please help. Thanks. He has changed three master cylinders in the process.

Check for fluid leak anywhere on the brake system. Also check out the vacuum hoses at the booster. Has the booster itself been tested yet?

If you are not showing any leak, like I did, the master cylinder is bad. I grabbed one at a junk yard for $10 and had it in, in 20 minutes. Make sure to grab the right one. ABS? Traction Control? The fittings are different sizes on the brake lines depending on these features. If you grab the wrong one you will need a descond trip, like I did!

Good Luck!
