our van has the oil light keep coming on but the oil is full is this a bad sending unit or a pressure problem?

Only way to find out is to get the sensor out and measure the oil pressure in that gallery. And compare the reading to specs. Id say that its a sending unit issue as they have been known to fail more then a oil pump. But this is the only way to prevent spending unneeded money
