I have a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L with 115K miles on it. Drives fine most of the time but recently while driving the oil light came on, brakes malfunctioned, power steering failed, stereo was out. When stopped the van wouldn't turnover. Waited 10 minutes and it started and drove back home without issue. I was told a few months ago by dealer that main wiring harness was corroding due to battery acid leak. Does this sound like a wiring harness issue?

It certainly has credence. I would definitly get a look at the wiring in that area.

I did a little reasearch for you and there is a splice that is located near the positive battery terminal in the main harness. I would pull off the electrical tape around it and take a look inside. My guess is you'll find some green.
