1999 Dodge Caravan windshield washer problems

1999 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 245k miles

My rig is old and on it's last legs have 6 months more of payments so trying to diagnose problem on my own.
when I squirt the windshield washer it looks like it needs help only coming out in spurts.
Would this be a pump problem or just a fuse.

(when I push the button in it only shoots just barely to the bottom of the windshield and I have to continually push the button).

It wouldn't be a fuse or it wouldn't squirt at all. I would look for a kink or bend in the hose going from the washer fluid resevoir to the wipers first. Second, take a small sewing needle or straight pin and clean out the holes the fluid comes out of the squirters. These can sometimes get clogged over time. The last thing I'd think it could be is something clogging the outlet in the resevoir where the pump is located. Look into the tank and see if there's some gunk in the bottom.
