Are any of the others out? The fuel gauge is controlled by the sending unit on the fuel pump, in the gas tank. The speedo may be bad itself. You can find out exactly why they failed bt using a scanner. It stores codes and operated these. Do you know how to use a test light and a voltmeter? If you do get the fault codes and let me know exactly what they are. On some engines the vehicle speed sensor controls the speedometer information.
