The average cost of a trans overhaul is around 2500.00. I live near Pittsburgh but I'm not sure where you are.

Let me know if you have other questions. Also, let me know what the trans is doing that makes you believe it needs replaced.

That will do it. Let me know if you have questions in the future. By the way, the average cost is based on a national average. In PA, you should be able to get it done for a good bit less.

Wait for the recalls-their comin. So many probs and most are sensors and relays to units, vacuum leaks and crimped wires but they all can cause varying probs that point at body module, bad hydraulic flow or grounds but most are related to battery amps-dont just ck your manual-ck your part numbers from carb, starter, harnesses relays to sensors throw it off and no gauges to no cruise, ABS lite and horn=Nope. Its a clock spring recall. Also short brake line doesnt let fluid return on sharp corner and calipers grab, car stalls, ck engine comes on. I think the car doesnt think right because theyve gone out of their way to make you go to dealer. Parts stores will test Ck engine when lite on then you have to figure out how the prob happened when the unit is fine. Vacuum will do that until it wears parts or doesnt have amps to run a part and then it dies. But will have headlight, brake, win/dr stop, latch actuators dont release and stuck there because of bent, dirty or bump in road-call Lemon News for update and log all probs. Dont let them charge you for reprogramming Body module-get one at Salvage yard for $50 bucks (even if it has more miles-$450 installed at dealer) Ck Tech Serv Bullitins (TSB's)at dealer and DONT LET THEM CHRGE YOU ANYTHING-saying its out of warranty, your not orig owner, its been worked on w/aftermarket parts, etc. A woman will get a discount of 20-40% and a man maybe 40-60% and YOU DEMANDING IT FIXED will get it free. Talk to lemon guys and ck with me in few weeks.I might start a Class Action Suit for Misrep/prior Knowledge of probs and waiting for enough voices for recall-NO NO that kills people like me that put on 30k miles month and I do my own work. Mechanic told me ABS deal (clockspring) was $325 or reprogram Body Mod-They get it done free, get reimbursed then charge you full ticket!Because Dealers only have to notify ORIGINAL OWNER OF "pOSSIBLE pROBLEM AND POST TSB IN SERV CENTER!Yea we hang out there all the time. Talk to Lemon News (Law) Boys and if there is some action. Call me at (970)310-4494 or call me anyway. I know 5 mech that ea. Know @10 clients with varying but ALL these probs on certain days!Sorry, Houston We Have a Situation. I just found "one of these" last night after 2 days workin on probs with race car builder friend-we are checking Science/Tech and if turns out like we diagnosed. Dodge/ Chrysler will be notified of class Action Suit by Friday! Oh boy. Sorry so long can you tell I was just workin on mine!Ha-Take care and God bless. Scoyboy (. The Colorado Quicky we're 10/10 on the side. Roger and Out!
