it goes right up to 3

Hi:
Does it stay at 3000 RPM's? Have you checked for major vacuum leaks? Have you had the vehicle's computer scanned for trouble codes?

Yes it is when you turn it on it goes strat to 3000rpms and no I havent had it scanned please help

Hi:
The first thing I suggest is to take it to an Auto Zone or other nationally recognized auto parts store and have them scan it for codes. Let me know what you find.
