Engine Performance problem
1999 Dodge Caravan 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I REPLACED A BROKEN HEAD GASKET ON THE BACK SIDE. I ALSO REPLACED TIMMING BELT WATER PUMP AND ALL THE NEEDED GASKETS. WHEN I GOT IT BACK TOGHETHER AND STARTED IT IT WAS TAPPING LIKE A LIFTER, I TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE AND NOTICED THAT AFTER IT GOT UP TO TEMPATURE AND I TRYED TO STOP AT A STOP SIGN IT DIED. IM ALMOST POSITIVE I HAVE ALL THE VACUME HOSES HOOKED UP RIGHT. I HAVE LOOKED AND LOOKED AND CAN NOT FIGURE OUT WHY IT IS DOING THIS. AND IT DOESNT DIE UNTIL IT IS WARMED UP.

Only stalled once or now doesn, t start.
Which V6. What is fuel pressure, what are codes? When it runs cold is it ok?
May be another problem, the coolant sensor or o2 sensor may be disconnected or contaminated and the plugs also. When hot, the engine doesn't run with the same amount of fuel and is subject to any problems like this. Run it and blow it out good. Any check engine light, was battery disconnected during this work? Hope it is better. They tap a lot after a job like that but it must go away in 20 minutes or so. Joe
