1998 Dodge Caravan VIN#'s

Is there a website that I can enter my VIN# at to get repair/replacement info at? Example, I need a tranny for this vehicle, and would like to know which tranny my vehicle takes, and I come to know that these vehicles came produced with 14" or 15" drums and breaks. Its really hard to locate the right part when so many of the same vehicle were produced with too many changes in the same year. Thanks for any help, Tammy
