I have been unable to find the speed control sensor on my wife's caravan. I have been able to find it fairly easily on the 96 that I own. I have seemed to have looked everywhere for the thing but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. I am not sure if I am totally overlooking it or is it just that hard to find? PLEASE HELP. I need to get it fixed fast cause it is putting her van into "limp" mode and messing with a lot of things.

For the 3.0L engine, the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is located on the transmission (pictured below).

Hello,

Would help to know Engine Size in liters to provide better info. Sub-Model would also help.

If I am not mistaken on that year they went to an Output Shaft Speed Sensor and a Turbine Speed Sensor. They are located.

Looking from the front of the vehicle on the drivers side, look for what is call a selenoid pack it will be a square box looking object toward the bell housing. Just above it is the Turbine Speed Sensor. And towards the drivers front wheel at about the same level as the top of the Selenoid Pack will be the Output Shaft Speed Sensor.

I thought it was a 3.3 anyway here is a pic of locations. Suggest replace both they are only about $20 each.
