1997 Dodge Caravan 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

there was a ticking in the engine and I found that the rockers ate threw the rod so I changed them and now no oil is getting to the top of the motor and it did before. Within 1000 miles the rockers had already ate thew the rod again. Why is there no oil getting up there

The oil pump draws up the oil from a supply pan, it enters the oil filter and proceeds to the other oil passageways. The pump could have failed or the pick-up tube or screen is clogged. It may be a pump failure but I have seen the oil filter cause problems similar to this. If you just had your engine repaired, it should be re-checked, as an installation or part failure has occured. Call whomever repaired it or remove the engine oil pan to check for damage. I installed many remanufactured engines withy 3 lbs of oil pressure, barely enough to switch the oil warning lighyt offr. Sorry you have trouble, you can install a pressure gauge to be certain.
