Locked sliding door

6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The door locked on the drivers' side rear slider. Will not unlock manually or by automatic door locks. Can anybody tell me how to fix it - and if I have to take the door panel off how do I do that? Thank you!

The door panel needs to come off. It is held on by a few screws and clips that are between the panel and the door itself.

The most likely cause for this is the electric lock soleniod has seized and will need to be replaced. The part can be purchased at just about all auto parts stores.
