Not clear what the problem is. You don't have to remove the tie rod end. Which end of the shaft isn't coming out? Is the nut removed from the outer cv joint? Did you pry the lower control arm down to pop the ball joint out of the spindle?

Yes, the ball joint is out and lower control arm is detached. I removed the 6 bolts where it looks like it goes into part of the transmission. From what I can see everything is removed including the rotor etc. I grab on the end of it and tried pulling to get it to pop out but it dont. The 6 bolts are at the end where, the seal would be inside, if I can get it to pop, then the seal would be right there, and I could replace and put back together. The axel is for the most part just hanging there except where I took the 6 bolts out, looks like maybe I should try to pry it out. Dont want to keep yanking afriad that I'll damage the cv boot.

Okay, I got the axle out and had to remove the 6 bolts so I could get the housing off, to take out seal. I did that and replaced with new seal, put the 6 bolts back and tried to put the axle back, then bam a bigger problem. Now the spline has fell out of place, and cant put it back to where it was, The only thing It seems I can do is remove a cover there thats part of the tranny. I think by removing this cover I could get the spline back in place but not sure, am I screwed, or can it be done, if so perhaps you can tell me what needs to be done thanks.
