1995 Dodge Caravan rear wiper/airbag

I am unable to use the rear wiper on my 1995 caravan due to the fact that everytime I turn the wiper on, a fuse is blown that not only keeps the wiper from working but also indicates that the air bags are not working. Any assistance in solving this concern would be greatly appreciated.

Mine did the same thing. This was the subject of a technical service bulletin recall. Chrysler put a seal across the cowl below the windshield. Not sure why or how that helped, but it did. For a while, I just carried a lot of extra fuses. What kind of automotive engineering mind comes up with the idea to fuse the airbag and rear wiper together?
