I just switched the engine in my dodge caravan and got it all done. I started the van and all the transmission fluid started to leak out, it leaked until it was all gone. It is not leaking from the CV axles, it is leaking from the opposite side of the transmission out of a box thing close to the dip stick. The engine is a chrystler v6 3 L. Do you know what I could do to stop the leak.

Good chance torque convertor did not seat properly or seal damaged

With the age of your van, the rubber front pump seal gets hardened from age. When you remove the engine, the torque converter hangs down and cracks the seal, then you have a leak. Professionals prop the torque converter up before unbolting it from the flex plate to prevent this problem.

However, ... Based on your description of a "box", it sounds like the leak is in the front by the solenoid pack. That should not have been touched to replace an engine. I think I would look closer at the transmission cooling hoses going to the radiator. One of them might have been ripped causing fluid to leak near the solenoid pack.
