1994 Dodge Caravan

My gauges went dead on my dash (the temp, speedometer, and fuel gauge), all the little lights still come on when I first start though, do I have to just replace the gauge cluster, there was a time while they were dead that they came back on for a little while, then flickered running then down now they just are down, took it to a shop at first and they said there was no reading in between the computer n the dash, would like to get it fixed don't need to run out of gas again.
