How do I tighten the belt. I'm getting a lot of squealing under the hood.

Hello,

The belt has an automatic tensioner so the is no manual tightening.

Try this locate the tensioner pulley and the Idler pulley, the bearing in one or both of these could be your culprit. With can of spray lube and engine off spray the center bolt on ONE of the pulleys. Star vehicle if noise is gone for short time replace that pulley. If not then turn vehicle off and spray other pulley and start if noise is gone for short time replace that pulley.

Thank you for your meaningful and helpful response so quick. I may not be able to replace the bad part so quick, but at least I know where the problem is. Again, thanks.
