What is you MPG?

I suspect that it's been running lean all of this time either from a weak fuel pump or bad regulator. Just not lean enough to make the check engine light come on.

Now everything is working like it's supposed to.

Do a mileage test and compare the results with what it was advertised new.

New fuel pump was installed along with all the rest of the stuff I mentioned could it be o2 sensor but not registering as a fault code? Why lean versus rich computer shows no fault codes and viecle runs excellent. New pressure reg installed twice mileage used to be 18 city now around 12

Have you done an actual mileage test? Or are those kinda "soft" numbers?

12 is really bad.
My 1967 Pontiac with a 455 gets 14 all day long.

You say you are getting normal MPG on the highway?
Check the brakes.

I worked on a Grand Am once that got horrible city mileage, but normal on the highway.

It ended up being a caliper was locking up every time you stepped on the brakes.
But after a few minutes, it would release.
So driving on the highway, it was normal.
But driving in town, where you have to use the brakes all the time, the caliper was constantly causing a dragging on the wheels.
