2007 Dodge Caliber Weird Sounds and No Air

Car was making a squeaking noise only when A/C was on and only when idle. Today is made a grinding type sound and now the A/C doesn't work anymore.

No they said the electrical system is not turning the compressor on for some reason, so it may be the compressor or else something else in the electrical system. They need to give me a diagnostic.

It sounds like it is either a bad clutch or a break down before there. Do you know if the AC clutch is getting power?
