2007 Dodge Caliber 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hi my question is how do I put my belt back on. The belt came of the vechicle and I don't understand why. Everything is fairly new. It has 48, 7mi. On it. Please help me to repair this problem so it never happens again

Hi:
There is a belt tensionier that keeps the belt tight. It may have gone bad allowing the belt to get loose. Go to the "Drive Belt Routing Diagrams" link on this page for a schematic. Also, when you replace it, make sure it's tight.
