1996 Dodge Avenger Car shuts off while driving

My car shuts off while driving. I put the car on a machine. I was told it was the sensor-the shop put a new one on. The car still keap shutting off. I took it back, they put it back on the machine, they then said it was the egr value- I got them to replace that. The car is still shutting off. I was told by a part store that it could be the feul pressure regulator. What do you think? Please help. I already put $500.00 in both repairs stated above.

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you had the fuel puressure tested?

As far as the repairs, I would go back to the shop that "fixed it" and demand they fix it right at no more additional cost to you. They told you what was wrong, and they were wrong.

Let me know about the other things.
