My car is making really loud sound kind of like a truck. I discovered it was the exhaust pipe and catalytic converter somehow broken of from each other or detached. I am trying figure out if I have to get the whole thing replaced or can I get a clap and put it back together.

Hello,

They have sleeves at any auto parts store that are either straight or are woven for flexibility that should work for you here. Just make sure that there are no sharp edges and clamp it in position. Please double check that the honeycomb inside the catalytic converter isn't damaged, if possible. I hope this helps. Have a Happy New Year.

Thanks,
Alex
