I checked all four motor mounts and replaced one and it still was shaking. So I parked my car and checked the passenger side axle. It looks like the boot is not securely connected. My question is, could this be the reason my car is shaking this bad? Do I need to replace the whole axle or just the boot?

It is hard to know for sure if that will solve the issue but a failed CV joint will cause this issue so given the condition of the boot, I would replace it. Just replacing the boot will not fix the issue because the boot is meant to keep the dirt out of the joint and once it is in there, the damage is done.

Here is a guide that will help:

Also, here is a video on how to do this as well:

Lastly here is a guide that will talk about a CV axle in general if you would like some more info:

Let's replace the axle and go from there. Thanks
