I bought the car listed above used recently and noticed a bend on the wheel rim. Have a friend of mine review the drive too at high speed yet no problem noticed. I would like to know if this bend is severe and know how much it might cost to get it fixed.

I feel the bend is minimal and the bent rim is a bit rusty too. Attached are images of bend.

Hello,

As this is a steel rim the dent can be repaired by any competent tire fitment shop. If left, this dent could cause the tire to deflate as it does not seal properly on the damaged surface. A bent rim is also off balance, this could cause long term issues with drive shafts and tire wear. The dent will have to be inspected for cracks, if in order it can be knocked out and then the tire/rim will have to be rebalanced to avoid any wheel shake at speed.

Please let us know how you get along.

Cheers, Boris
