I have a 93 Ford Areostar RWD van and I'm curious if I have to get specific disc rotors for RWD or can I use AWD/4WD rotors on the front?

The rotors are totally different. For the rear-wheel-drive the rotor sits on a pair of tapered wheel bearings like all older cars and trucks. The all-wheel-drive vehicles use a hub and wheel bearing assembly with the wheel studs in it, and the rotor slips on over them. Those rotors cost about half as much.
