When I put the car in gear the doors auto lock. If the car is running and in park to exit, I need to push the unlock button. Sometimes if the door closed by itself, it would auto lock. I would like to disable auto lock.

Hi,

The automatic lock isn't programable. The only option is to turn off the automatic unlock when the vehicle is placed in park and the key is turned off. That simply requires the removal of the unlock fuse. The automatic lock was a safety feature, and they never provided a means of disabling it.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but other than that, you would need to disable the circuit to prevent it from locking. That would prevent the power locks from working at all.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
