I have a base model car, and I'm working on replacing the struts. I noticed that in all of the resources I've used to help me to do this, that my front upper suspension mount is much different than all of the others I've seen. Everything else seems to have one that has three bolts on it, but mine only connects directly to the strut. I can't find anything about this anywhere, and I'm having trouble finding a replacement part for it. Why is mine so different?

Hi,

Just so I am clear, are you talking about where the knuckle connects to the strut or the top of the strut where other vehicles connect to the tower in the engine compartment?

Here is the procedure for removing the strut. If I am not understanding, can you please take a picture of what you are referring to? My wife drives a 2009 so I am familiar with these vehicles. I just need to get on the same page as you. Thanks

Thanks
