Car shuts off while driving

The last couple months my car has not been starting all the time. And I need to get it jumped. Recently the headlights dim out while I am driving and completely shut off and the brake lights go as well. Also, the car shuts off while I am driving. I replaced the battery and starter. Was going to replace the alternator but AutoZone tested it and said that the alternator is fine. I do not know what else to do.

Good morning.

I suggest starting by taking your car to a shop. AutoZone has parts salesman not techs. All your indication are pointing toward a failing alternator. You need to have it checked correctly.

Thank you. I had the alternator replaced last night and so far so good. I only went with what their machine said but figured I would replace it any way. That way I know I did everything I could.
