When I push defrost button the air still comes out the front vents. I found a broken gear on the floor. The gear is half of an oval shape. What part do I need to replace it with. My car is the LT model.

Good evening.

There is a gear on the case that operates the defrost system. I attached a picture and the procedure for the gear replacement.
