Dead battery. Car alarm

Car was stored for winter. Every year it has started. Last summer battery was replaced and was dead. Attempting to charge it activated alarm. Charged with battery disconnected. Alarm goes off and pressing unlock button on remote does not work. Need suggestions so I can use the car.

The remotes need to be re programmed.

Charged battery and reconnected. When the alarm sounded the open function on the remote stopped it. Car runs well. Will need to have the new battery checked as nothing had been left on to drain it.
