Hi,
The directions from my manual are somewhat vague and include the center console (if equipped. I attached everything I have below. The first pic is an exploded view. Hopefully, and it won't be easy, you will see the connectors that you missed.
The directions below are specific to this vehicle. I hope they help. Let me know if you have other questions.
