My heater quit blowing. I have removed the motor and hooked it directly to the battery, it works fine then. I hooked the motor back up and it worked only on low and high (three more speeds in between are not working). Now it is not working at all again. Would the problem be the resistor block, or the speed switch? If it is the speed switch, can you tell me where to locate that? All the fuses and relays are ok. The controls are automatic.

Most likely th eresistor block. Use atest light to verify power into the resistor at all speeds, the voltage drop occcurs in the resistor so it should have power in at all different fan speeds, if so the resistor is bad, if not the fan speed switch is probably the culprit
