I Have A Chatter Noise And Can Not Figure Out What It Is. I Have Checked The Compression And It Ranges From 205-215psi. The Car Does Not Smoke, Leak Oil, Antifreeze And Idles Just And Does Not Run Rough, Plus It Will Run Down The Road Just Fine. No Water In The Oil, No Oil In The Water, No Bubbles From The Radiator, Checked Timing And Is OK. The Chatter Sounds Are Coming From The Intake Manifold Side On The Passenger Side Of The Motor The #1 Cylinder. Any Help Will Be Greatly Appreciated. It's My Daughters First Car.

Noise seems to travel all over the place? I hve seen problms with the timing belt rollers going bad due to bad bearings.For this you will need to remove the timing belt and spin the 2 rollers and feel for the bearings to be binding.
