Hello everyone, I recently have bought this car it is 2011 not 2012 and it was maintained very well.
I used it for like two months and recently I noticed, when I park the car and turn off the engine. I hear a sizzling sound coming from cylinder area where the spark plug on its top is located. The noise is not very loud and disappear after ten to fifteen minutes as the car starts cooling.
Is it dangerous?
One of my friend told me that the coolant is diluted. When you replace it. It will be fine.
Thanks in advance for the great help.

Pressure check the coolant system for a leak that may be the sound make sure it is full of coolant. Also, check the radiator cap as it may be losing pressure. Auto parts rent it.

How would I know if there is any leak? As I have checked the car and the car's surrounding area. I did not see anything dripping.
The reservoir is full of water.
Today I went to dealership, they said this is normal problem with almost every Honda. I am not sure. What to do now.

If you pressure check it if there is an internal leak like a head gasket you would lose pressure on coolant system, but seeing as the system is full and dealers say this is normal then there is not a problem. Just annoying.

Hello,

If I may jump in here, is the noise more like pressure releasing? If so it could be the air conditioner pressure equalizing which is normal.

I video of the noise would be best of us to tell what is happening.

Please let us know.

Cheers, Ken
