Garage has said cylinder head gasket is showing signs of wear as pressure in radiator has dropping a little. Would it be a good ideas to used steel seal to repair the gasket? Or better to replace it? Does steel seal work or do more damage?

First we have no information on this car you cold use the sealer to try to repair it sometimes they work other times not. I prefer copper seal seems to do a better job. Steel seal sometimes can clog heater, but just follow instructions.
