CV joint removal and wheel bearings

I cannot get the drivers side cv joint to seperate from the transmission there doesn't seem to be a pin or clip holding it I didn't want to beat it out unless I was sure, and I can't get the rotor seperated from the the wheel bolt pattern to put new wheel bearing in

What are you trying to do remove both? You then take the large nut loose the large nut off prior to jacking car up. Then take off tire, brake stuff and remove wheel bearing. If removing axle sometimes you need to remove the lower ball joint from strut so there is enough room to pull axle out then get a large screwdriver /bar and pry out axle from transmission.
