Okay, so outer CV joint on driver side popped out of place needed a bolt. Friend fixed it for me said it wouldn't last long with the spindle needed pin as well ASAP. The CV joint after a fender bender caused the inner CV joint to break so I went and got another one to replace. When I went to put it I realized my transmission was cracked. Could the CV joint caused the cracks when it completely broke while driving it?

Short answer is yes. However, I don't think it was the axle that caused the damage. I suspect what happened is when you were in the accident that the axle was shoved into the transmission where it cracked the case and then broke the axle.

Below is the process for replacing this if you need it. However, sounds like you need to replace the transmission as well. Let us know if you need more info. Thanks
