CV driveshaft

Guy went to install driver side CV shaft did not get it all the way owner backed up and now we cannot get the shaft all the way in. It looks like there is something that came down at preventing it from going all the way into the transmission.

Hello,

It sounds like the "C" clip is sprung and it won't get through the spider gear. Remove the axle and inspect to confirm.
