Replaced new CV joint axles in both sides. When finished was test driving and immediately the drivers side axle broke a little but back for where you connect the bolts. What could cause that to happen?

How did it break? The inner joint pot failed or the boot or? Depending on what broke would show what likely happened. There are a few possibilities. If the inner joint pot failed then it could be a flaw in the casting or there is something stuck between the axle flange and the joint. If the inner boot tore or the inner joint came apart then you have the wrong shaft (happens sometimes because there are multiple versions and engines and they are not interchangeable). Or it could be a typical aftermarket part that passes for quality these days.
