Shuts off while driving?

Car stops while driving and also doesn't start up unless you push it.

Hi,

Does this happen when you are moving, and your foot is on the accelerator? Also, when you say you need to push it to start it, please explain. Do you mean the vehicle needs to move before it will restart? Also, when it won't restart, does the starter engage?
