I have a dxrm57bt radio in my car. I was in the car trying to charge my phone. The charging port I had was not working so I decided to plug the USB part of my charger into the USB port of the radio. All of a sudden the radio stopped working. It just cut off and will not turn back on. I thought maybe I blew a fuse but I am not sure. And I do not know which fuse to check if it is the fuse. I need help to figure out what is going on.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The last Oldsmobile was made in 2004, so I need to have the correct year. Once I get that, I can check for fuse locations. My only concern is that when the aftermarket radio was installed, an inline fuse may have been placed on the power supply. If that is the case, I will not be able to help locate it because I will not know where the installer placed it. It will have to be somewhere in the power supply, but I do not know the wiring colors for this radio.

Let me know the year, and we can start at that point.

Take care,
Joe

Not a problem. You need to check fuse H in the right hand dash fuse box.

See attached:

Let me know what you find.
