My car started to have a rough idle and wouldn’t let me gain speed. The RPM's would go down and I would slow down. Checked the engine light and it threw a mass airflow sensor code and a crankshaft position sensor code. I replaced both sensors. The car worked for about a day and then when it went to start it the next day I’m back to having the same issues. If I can finally get it to start the idle is very rough. Please help this is frustrating.

Hi,

Have the same codes returned? As far as the idle issue, that is usually caused by an engine vacuum leak, need of a tune-up, or fuel pressure.

First, let's check and make sure there are no vacuum leaks. Since you replaced the MAF, confirm the air inlet tube is properly attached. Also, here is a link that shows how to locate a vacuum leak:

That is where I would start. Let me know if the same codes have returned and I need to know the engine size, 2.2L or 2.4L.

Let me know.
