I'm trying to replace the crankshaft position sensor on my vehicle listed above. I am now currently on my third crankshaft position sensor because the first two sensors I broke. I removed the crankshaft position sensor and try to replace the sensor. When I put the sensor in it got halfway down and then got stuck. In order to get the sensor out I ended up breaking it. So I purchased a second crankshaft position sensor and when I put it in once again it got about halfway down and then got stuck. This time the sensor broke while I was removing the sensor but part of it is stuck in the whole. So I have a third crankshaft position sensor to put in but I can't get the part of the sensor that's broken off out of the hole. The locate the location of the sensor is on the transmission bell-housing and there is absolutely no room to see how the sensor is supposed to go in. I'm not understanding why the sensor keeps getting stuck when I put it on. I'm not sure if something is down in the hole that is making it get stuck or if the crankshaft position sensor has to go in a certain way. But I am not willing to get the third sensor stuck.I was wondering if you could tell me how to get the round part of the sensor removed that's stuck. Once I do that is there something I'm missing about the exact placement of the sensor? The problem is there us no room at all and I cant see what I'm doing on top if that. So it's like the blind leading the blind. Please help if you can! Thanks
