Crankshaft position sensor wires?

I’d like to know which directions the wires to the crankshaft position sensor go. I have 3 wires that are red/green/yellow. I do know which way to wire them so the sensor functions correctly.

If you hold the connector on the sensor so that the locking clip/tab is on TOP (facing you, latch at the top edge), the pin layout is:

Pin 1 (Left) = Ground (Red/Yellow)

Pin 2 (Middle) = Signal (Green)

Pin 3 (Right) = Power 12V (Red)
