Crankshaft Position Sensor shows a P0339 code?

OBD2 shows a P0339 code, which I see is the crankshaft position sensor. Some things I'm finding online show you can replace that sensor and be on your way. Others say that the computer has to be reprogrammed and the sensor relearned. What do you guys think?

The crankshaft sensor does not not to be programmed. The PCM will automatically sync the signal after a few revolutions.

P0339 - Crankshaft Position Sensor - Intermittent Interruption

So I would install a new sensor which the location is shown in the images below and then clear the codes and the problem should be fixed. The crankshaft position sensor is under a heat shield on the right side of the engine near the oil filter. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
