Hi.
I'm from Poland and this is my first time repairing an engine like this. Your videos are great and have helped me a lot.
In the video (How to Build a Ford 5.4L 3V Engine - Part 4: Clean and Crankshaft Install) at 32 minutes you check the clearance along the crankshaft? What is the allowable clearance? My engine has 0.55mm of clearance, despite new bearings. Are larger bearings available to reduce the clearance?

Yes there are many bearings that will correct the clearance. But first measure everything 3 time from different angles and write down the results for each one. So to start
Are you sure of that measument? 0.55 is a bit more than a half mm
Woch would be way out of tolerance that would be 21.7 thousnths of an inch wiich is crazy out of tolerance.
So check the and right it down and let me know becuase if it was 0.055mm then ot would be 2.2 thousands that would be good so please check it and while you doing this job right everything down there gonna be quite alot to record as you move forward. Let us know the truest measurement you get ok? While we look up the specs for you . Thanks

Yes, I'm sure about this measurement. I know it's a very large clearance. The crankshaft has been repaired. I'll try to find or fabricate oversized bearings. Please tell me the correct clearance.

All sizes are availible
If you have a crankshaft machinist near you I'd just have the ground back to standard and use standard sized bearings. Also might have it balanced while you're at it
Good luck
