94 s-10 died at while going down road. towed home, noticed check engine light on solid, used scanner and no DTCs. However light is on solid. Then looked to see if fuel is coming via TBI, looks like is coming in. changed fuel filter as well. Then checked spark, connect spark plug to coil wire and crank have good spark. then connected spark plug to #1 cyl and see spark and did the same for number 4 cyl and also see spark. since light check engine light is on solid. Today I replced the entire distributor as well, to elminate the pickup and ignition module. still nothing. I am now looking at wiring, the pink wire going to coil has 12v. The white wire I am trying to check but not sure how please advise. OR if you have other thing to check for this please advise thanks

It sounds like you may have lost compression, can you please follow this video and report back with the readings?

Also, I have seen the catalytic converter fall apart internally and block the outlet which chokes off the engine. I know you see the fuel entering the engine but can you try staring fluid as well to see if you have lack of fuel or it is contaminated, (water)? Please go over this video as well.

Let us know what you find. Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on. Ken
