Crank no start

My daughter's car has crank, but no start. A red exclamation point is lit on the dash along with check engine light. I did not hear the fuel pump engage. Any suggestions as we are both Saab owners with a crank no start problems.

Try resetting security system if no owners manual look online for your car also try another key if you have one as there are a couple different systems.
