I have a strong crank no start?

1997 DODGE RAM
187,000 MILES • 5.9L • V8

It was intermittent no start now nothing. Once when it did this, I tapped the PCM, and it fired right up. I'm about to replace the PCM but I want to make sure this is my problem.

Yes, that PCM is the issue just remove the connectors and check the pins first if they check out ok then the PCM has water intrusion and will need to be replaced. Very common on these trucks. This is where to start.
